Chris Leo was 49 when ALS claimed his life. Chris was a loving and dedicated husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He was an outgoing and caring person who always put others first.

He served on the Canton City Police Department for 18 years as a patrolman and was an inaugural member of the City's bike patrol before retiring in 2009.

He was a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School and Kent State University. He took pride in serving his community. He loved golfing, hunting, and really enjoyed his annual hunting trips to Canada with his close friends. It was his positive attitude and a great sense of humor that sustained him and his family throughout his illness.

He fought his illness with dignity, determination and a never ending resolve up to the end.
